Strut Channel (C-Channel)

Single-sided, cold-formed C-type strut channel in five sizes (KIS 21–72). A stiffening rib boosts bending strength and serrated in-turned edges grip channel nuts and fittings for anti-slip, anti-shear connections.

Overview

The Backbone of Every Support

Strut channel (also called C-channel, slotted channel or metal framing channel) is the structural backbone of support and seismic bracing systems. Channel nuts, brackets, clamps and braces slide into the opening and lock anywhere along its length, so frames, racks and hangers can be built and adjusted on site without drilling.

  • C-channel has a stiffening rib for greater bending capacity.
  • Serrated in-turned edges deliver anti-slip, anti-shear, impact-resistant grip and mate perfectly with matching fittings.
  • Surface-treated finish — no maintenance needed, improving both corrosion resistance and appearance.
  • Material Q235 quality carbon steel, meeting GB/T 19001-2016 / ISO 9001:2015.
  • Finish: epoxy coating; hot-dip galvanized and passivated zinc also available.

FAQ

Common Questions

What is strut channel?
A cold-formed steel C-section with a slotted, serrated opening used to build support and seismic bracing frameworks — channel nuts and fittings slide and lock anywhere along its length.
What sizes do you offer?
KIS 21, 41, 52, 62 and 72 — section heights 21–72 mm, thickness 2.0–2.75 mm, standard lengths 3 m and 6 m.
Material and finish?
Q235 quality carbon steel (ISO 9001:2015). Standard epoxy coating; hot-dip galvanized and passivated zinc on request.
Why the serrations and rib?
The rib increases bending strength; the serrated edges give anti-slip, anti-shear grip so fittings lock securely under load.
